About this cartoon...
I like to Moo-ve it! Here’s a rocking bull cartoon, completed with Gibson guitar for some serious heavy guitar riffs!
Created as a digital cartoon mascot for use on posters, printed materials and social media for a local music fundraising event, Festi-Bull!
Creating my rocking bull cartoon
This ballistic bovine was created firstly as a pencil sketch, before being scanned in and outlines added digitally. I wanted to convey a cheeky, but chilled expression on his face.
Of course he needed some ind of rockstar power stance too!
Next step was to add in all of his base colours and the details on the guitar, such as the strings and all of the frets on the neck.
Finishing touches were then added, such as a shiny pair of shades and an ‘FB’ medal around his neck.
